With the grey weather and a temperature that calls for hats and gloves, what could be more inviting than lighting a candle that perfectly complements the season when you get home?<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

As every year, here is my small selection of fall candles, including great classics that you already know if you have been reading this blog for a while, and then some favorites from this year at all prices.<\/p>\n

Autumn candles.<\/h6>\n

This is a serious subject. Some like them hot, others rather discreet \u2014 yes, we are still talking about candles \u2014 woody, dense, or smoky; the important thing is to feel good in your interior.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The first, forever and ever in my little heart, is the Spice Pumpkin by PF Candle<\/a>. Nutmeg, pumpkin, brown sugar, and cinnamon, this candle is a success, a marvel to burn at this time of year (and not only that, for my part, I light it as soon as the desire is there, even in July, ed).<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The second, you also know it, it’s Feu de Bois by Diptyque<\/a>. A great classic, it smells what it announces: wood fire, so much so that you have the impression of having a fireplace in your apartment or your house, but without a fireplace, try to follow. I recommend the small size, unless you have a living room of 80-100 m2, because it really has power, and the goal is to have the sweet impression of having a fireplace, not a regiment of firefighters at dinner.<\/p>\n

The third I talked about here<\/a> is the Gabriel candle by Cire Trudon<\/a>. To describe it to you, it’s very simple; it’s the combination of the two mentioned above. A little bit of fireplace fire, a touch of candied chestnut for the gourmet side, and a beautiful candle that lasts forever.<\/p>\n

The fourth is a nice surprise because it’s inexpensive and very well done in design and fragrance. It’s the Gingerbread by Zara Home<\/a>. It typically smells like what it announces, namely gingerbread and ginger. Cinnamon, clove, cardamom and a hint of citrus, everything you need to make gingerbread. A Happiness to burn!<\/p>\n

The fifth and last of this selection is a surprise because it is not a candle with typical seasonal scents but rather one that reminds us of the forest in autumn with the M\u00fbre et Musc candle from l’Artisan Parfumeur<\/a>. The blackberry, whose season begins at the end of July and ends in October, also has a hint of musk and lemon; we are outside in the middle of picking these last precious fruits before going home to drink a lovely hot tea\u2014a marvel for those who are not fans of the more traditional scents of autumn.<\/p>\n

And here is this cute selection that will undoubtedly make you want to sit down in peace after a nice walk in your neighborhood, with a blanket, tea, and a good book.<\/p>\n
