There’s nothing better than a good infused water to refresh you in the summer. You know we love it here on the blog; we make it in all kinds of ways!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Today’s drink reminds me of Marseille, a city in southern France, where you often drink Pastis, an anise-flavored beverage. So, for those who don’t like anise or Pastis, I can reassure you right away that I hate it too, but I love this infused water because the flavor is very light; on the contrary, it brings just the right amount of freshness to our summer.<\/p>\n

So, here we go with this Marseille-infused water!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Fresh infused water<\/h6>\n

5 star anise<\/p>\n

Half a ripe peach<\/p>\n

2 liters of filtered water<\/p>\n

Optional: A few ice cubes.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Recipe<\/h6>\n

Wash the peach half, then cut it into very thin slices using a sharp knife to minimize mess. Be careful not to cut yourself.<\/p>\n

In a large carafe, place the thin peach slices and star anise, then add the filtered water. Cover and refrigerate for at least six hours, ideally overnight.<\/p>\n

Presentation<\/h6>\n

Using a fine tea strainer, a fine strainer, or a coffee filter, pour your infused water into your prettiest glasses or water bottle for the office. Add a few ice cubes for an \u201caperitif\u201d effect.<\/p>\n

Keep refrigerated for 24 hours.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n
