{"id":4194,"date":"2019-05-28T15:08:33","date_gmt":"2019-05-28T13:08:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.chillbycaro.com\/?p=4194"},"modified":"2019-05-28T15:15:38","modified_gmt":"2019-05-28T13:15:38","slug":"fried-rice-tagliatelle-and-a-pinch-of-japan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.chillbycaro.com\/en\/fried-rice-tagliatelle-and-a-pinch-of-japan\/","title":{"rendered":"Fried rice tagliatelle and a pinch of Japan !"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Hello, Young Padawan<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>As the days have got chilly again lately, how about fixing ourselves a nice little hot meal?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Hold on tight, my young padawan, I take the wheel&#8230; ok just the pan.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h6>Fried tagliatelle, tofu and teriyaki\u00a0\ud83c\uddef\ud83c\uddf5<\/h6>\n<p><em>For 2 servings<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; \u00bc of a bag of organic half-brown rice tagliatelle (or choose whatever pasta you want after all! Picture of mine below for those who lives in Europe and fancy the adventure, they are really good.)<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; a block of smoked tofu<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; 1\/3 cup of teriyaki sauce<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; 1\/4 cup of water<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; 2 tbsp of olive oil<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; 6 shallots<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; 1 small fresh onion with the green stem<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; 1\/3 cup of unsalted non-roasted cashews<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; turmeric powder, salt, pepper.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; a vegetable of your choice to go with, I like zucchini, so: a zucchini.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; a small bowl of seasoned salad per person<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8211; Optional: some cherry tomatoes, pan-fried for a few minutes in a hot pan with a drizzle of olive oil and thyme for the decoration (and also the taste), you will love it, trust me!<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_1124\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1124\" class=\"wp-image-1124 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/www.chillbycaro.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/IMG_2299-e1525361897121-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.chillbycaro.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/IMG_2299-e1525361897121-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.chillbycaro.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/IMG_2299-e1525361897121-100x100.jpg 100w, https:\/\/www.chillbycaro.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/IMG_2299-e1525361897121-600x600.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.chillbycaro.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/IMG_2299-e1525361897121-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.chillbycaro.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/IMG_2299-e1525361897121-768x768.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.chillbycaro.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/IMG_2299-e1525361897121-1024x1024.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.chillbycaro.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/IMG_2299-e1525361897121-1440x1440.jpg 1440w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-1124\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Organic half-brown rice tagliatelle from the brand &#8220;Autour du riz&#8221;, I use them when I am in France.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h6><\/h6>\n<h6>Recipe<\/h6>\n<p>Soak the tagliatelle in cold water, set aside for 10 minutes, then cook for 5 minutes in a large volume of boiling water, drain them, set aside.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Cook the zucchini cut in small cubes for 5 minutes with a gentle steam. They must remain crunchy. Set aside.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Put the cashew nuts in a small bowl, add 3 or 4 teaspoons of turmeric according to your taste, stir well for the turmeric to stick to the cashews. If this is not the case it is because they are a little dry, then use a spray of water to moisten the cashews a bit, stir well.<\/p>\n<p>Put the turmeric cashew nuts in a hot pan for a few seconds, stirring regularly.
