A really nice new cosmetics brand.

Hi Chillers,

Today, we’ll talk about a new brand that recently arrived at Sephora. Without further ado, it’s Glowery. This brand tells a story of friendship, intuition, and a passion for beauty. Between France and South Korea, Alexandra Kolasinki reinvents cosmetic rituals with a pop of color, resolutely aimed at the new generation.

The products, with their simple and effective formulas, are inspired by Korean beauty rituals, which piqued my curiosity and prompted me to test them for a month.

Glowery, the small brand that’s on the rise.

As someone who’s always curious about cosmetics, I couldn’t pass it up. Simple formulas with effective active ingredients, pop packaging, a clear and coherent range inspired by Korean beauty—what more could I ask for?

So I bought two trial kits, each containing three travel-size products: one for a morning routine, the other for an evening routine, and a tinted lip gloss.

The morning kit contains a radiance-boosting fluid lotion with ceramides, a repairing and brightening serum with centella asiatica, and a nourishing day balm that repairs the skin barrier. By the third day, I noticed my skin was more radiant and felt less tight thanks to the comfortable and nourishing cream, which isn’t heavy or greasy. This morning kit is perfect for my skin; I have absolutely no complaints.

The evening kit consists of a “double cleansing” cleansing balm, a purifying blueberry toner, and a repairing night oil with ceramides, phytosqualane, and vitamin E. I appreciated using the cleansing balm, which transforms into a milk upon contact with water. This allows for easy emulsification before rinsing. However, I still use a cleanser after the balm for a true double cleanse, because for me—or at least in my mind, lol—a single product isn’t enough to remove makeup, pollution, and so on.

The toner is very pleasant and suitable for sensitive skin. As for the oil, I can’t really say much more because, as usual, after a few nights of use, my skin reacts badly, with breakouts and unevenness.

As always when I try an oil, even though I don’t have acne, I end up with clogged pores, uneven texture, and blemishes—in short, the opposite of my natural skin. It’s always been like this when I try face oils; I’ve tried them all, lol, but I still wanted to test it for a few nights. After the fourth night, I started testing the oil on my hands, which are thrilled, and went back to my usual serum and night cream on the face. That said, if your face tolerates oils, you should know that my hands are plumper, less dry, and my cuticles have never been healthier, using just three drops for both hands, right before bed.

Finally, I also tried the “Lippie Bestie” mirror-effect lip oils in the shade “Big Mistake,” which is a lovely sheer brown that gives a healthy glow, especially in this winter weather. This shade is already quite flattering, suitable for almost everyone, whether your skin is fair or dark. I think it will give you a healthy glow because it’s neither too warm nor too cool, just perfect. As for hydration, I’m in heaven. The ceramides and avocado oil it contains really help keep lips moisturized in this bitter cold. The glossy finish is lovely; it feels like wearing a pretty lip gloss, without the stickiness, plus it’s nourishing. Finally, the applicator tip is large enough that you don’t have to re-dip it multiple times, which is great. I’m absolutely in love with it, and I won’t hesitate to treat myself to another shade the next time I’m in Sephora.

After a month of trying these travel-sized products, will I repurchase them in the full-size versions? The morning ceramide milk, the day serum, the rich, enveloping day cream—definitely. The cleansing balm and blueberry toner, I think so too. So I’ll leave the night oil to those who like oils, but I definitely plan to pack a second Lippie Bestie lip oil in my bag. We’re almost at a perfect match!

There are other products available that aren’t in the kits, including another day cream that I might try instead of buying the rich, nourishing balm right away, since warmer weather is coming. But I won’t forget it for next winter, because I loved it as much as my Lala Retro cream from Drunk Elephant, which is MY go-to winter cream, that’s how much I love it!

All that’s left is for me to wish you a great weekend, and I’ll see you next Friday for more adventures on the blog!

XO ✨
