Hello, young Padawan
Today, we’re going to talk about shower gel, soap, and all that jazz! Yes, I know: at first glance, it doesn’t exactly sound glamorous. But since it’s something we do once or twice a day, well, if we can make it as pleasant as possible, why not?
So, let’s get started with a little selection that smells good and takes care of your skin.
So let’s not beat around the bush, my favorite cleanliness supplier is Lush, without a doubt! From their soaps to their shower creams, not to mention their little wobbly characters called “shower jelly,” I’m in heaven.
First off, when it comes to scents, there’s something for everyone. Whether you like floral, gourmand, woody, sweet, fresh, soothing, invigorating, or botanical scents, you’ll find your perfect match. From the lightest and most delicate fragrance to the strongest, most powerful ones.
Personally, as you know, I love botanical and citrus scents, and I’m truly spoiled for choice at Lush. I’m also surprised to find myself enjoying slightly spicy scents, like cinnamon-orange at this time of year, and the little red truck you see in the photo captures this autumn-winter theme perfectly. It’s my favorite hand soap starting in September!
If you’re more of a botanical lover, I recommend the turtle-shaped gel shower gel called “Eater Turtle,” available only in the spring. Another great thing about Lush is that they have seasonal products to keep things interesting, and if you fall in love with something, you can stock up so the enjoyment lasts a little longer.
One of my favorite products is the “Posh Chocolate” shower cream, not so much for its hot chocolate scent, which, to be honest, isn’t so bad—it’s actually quite nice once you get used to it—but mainly for its gentleness and respect for the skin. It cleanses without stripping your skin, which is a real plus in the colder months.
Alternatively, for those who adore botanical scents, the Nirvana shower gel from Antipodes. This is a hand and body wash. It contains hibiscus flower and Harakeke flaxseed oil, as well as vitamin C-rich kiwi seed oil, and it has a scent of spearmint leaves and cardamom—pure bliss.
Finally, for the ladies reading my blog, I’ll finish with a product that concerns us—gentlemen, see you next Thursday on the blog, kisses.
Ladies, as I was saying, I’ve been using this absolutely wonderful intimate cleanser for six years now. It’s great for the skin in this sensitive area, and for our vaginal flora that is just nearby. It’s the Coslys Intimate Cleansing Fresh Gel, available in all good organic stores. I find mine at Biocoop for about €10 for 500ml—inexpensive, great quality, lasts a long time, and smells wonderfully of eucalyptus. I highly recommend it!
And that’s it for this little article that smells good, hoping to inspire you to change your habits, or simply to entertain you!
I wish you a wonderful end to the week, a great weekend, and I’ll see you next Thursday for new adventures.
XO 🧼
