Hello, young Padawan
In this (very!) hot weather, there’s nothing better than a nice, cold infused water to quench your thirst.
As usual, we’ll keep it simple, yet tasty!
Let’s go.
Apricot Basil Infused Water
1 large ripe apricot
3 sprigs of basil
2 liters (or 68 fl oz) of filtered water
Optional : a few ice cubes.
Recipe
Wash the apricot and basil leaves in clean water. Using a cutting board and a sharp knife, split the apricot in half to remove the pit, then cut it into thin slices. Thinly slice the basil leaves.
Place the apricot pieces and basil in a large carafe, then add the filtered water. Stir and let it steep in the refrigerator overnight (at least 6 hours).
Presentation
Using a fine tea strainer, a fine strainer, or a coffee filter, pour your infused water into your prettiest glasses or water bottle for the office. Add a few ice cubes for an “aperitif” effect.
Keep refrigerated for 24 hours.
And here for today, something simple, fresh and beautiful, to enjoy at the office, with family or friends!
