Do you want to try the best chocolate cake in the universe?

Hello, young Padawan

It’s the Christmas holidays, you enjoy TV series, laid down on the couch, wrapped in a blanket, and you suddenly crave a little snack …

Have you ever dreamed of a cake so soft and delicious that barely in your mouth, it melts instantly to give way to the sweetness of chocolate scents?

No longer need to search since I have developed it, in all modesty of course. A simple cake that will delight the taste buds of the most gourmets, which takes 10 minutes to do including washing dishes.

So, of course, you will have understood in this article that we are enjoying a comfort snack during the “Christmas TV movie,” we are not in the healthy food subject. Anyway, know that it is always better to cook yourself a cake rather than buy an industrial one with a lot of bullshit in it.

Dark chocolate

Dark chocolate still has some assets that you may have missed …

Source of potassium, magnesium, and calcium, know that it is rich in flavonoids and that it contains four times more antioxidants than black tea, as well as beneficial effects on cardiovascular health. It also contains polyphenols, which strengthen the intestinal mucosa.

Yes, dark chocolate has its place in a balanced diet!

The “no pecan nuts in the cake” version (yes, yes, there is some outside, try to follow me …)

The ultimate chocolate cake

1/2 cup of silky tofu

1/2 cup of sugar

1/2 cup of liquid soy cream

1 pinch of vanilla powder

1 pinch of salt

1 cup of flour

1/2 cup of cornstarch

1 tbsp. of baking powder

1/3 cup of margarine for cooking without palm oil

1/3 cup of dark chocolate

Optional : 1/3 cup of pecan nuts.

RECIPE

Preheat the oven to 356 ° F.

In a bowl, whisk the silky tofu with the sugar to obtain an almost homogeneous mixture. Add the soy cream, mix again.

Stir in vanilla powder, salt, baking powder, flour and cornstarch with a whisk.

Then add the melted chocolate and margarine: just put them in a bowl and heat them in a bain-marie or microwave for 30 sec (repeat if necessary), then mix well and add to the rest.

Optional: coarsely chop the pecans with a knife and add them to the mixture.

Grease a cake tin with a nut of margarine, then add the mixture. Using a round mold is possible. In this case, it will be necessary to spread the cake batters well with a spatula because otherwise, it will not spread all around the mold while cooking in the oven.

Bake at medium heat at 356 ° F for about 30 minutes. Check the cooking by pricking with a knife, it must come out perfectly clean otherwise it will not be cooked enough.

For information it’s not a cake that rises a lot, it’s normal. When the cake is cooked, let it cool in its mold at room temperature.

The “With pecans in the cake” version and a nice spicy tea.

PRESENTATION

Be careful with the demolding. It remains fragile and soft because it is what makes it melts in the mouth at the tasting. We must make choices in life, and we cannot have everything! But if you do not unmold it as an angry wrestler, it will be alright.

In your most beautiful dessert plate, have one or two slices of cake accompanied by some pecans and a beautiful peeled mandarin. It’s the season, so much to enjoy!

With this cute cake, I advise you a nice hot drink, of course.

– If you wish to raise the taste of cocoa: That which seems to be the most adapted to the season would be the “Christmas tea” by Yogi Tea which as opposed to what its names implies, is not a tea but an infusion of rooibos and spices Christmas (cinnamon, cardamom, licorice, coriander, anise …).

– If you are not a fan of cinnamon you can play on vanilla taste with a sweet vanilla tea: “Phénix” from Mariage Frères, the “Vanilla sencha” by David’s Tea, or “Vanilla bean” by Mighty Leaf.

– And of course why not having a cup of hot oat milk with a spoon of raw cacao (or carob). I remind you for that the ultimate technique to not have lumps in your hot chocolate: first whip a small amount of hot vegetable milk with your raw cocoa (or carob), then add the rest of the liquid. You’re welcome.

Here it is my young padawan, I hope you’ll think about me at your next snack (not this one, I’m talking about hot chocolate and a cake, little rascal).
